Steatopyga \Ste`a*top"y*ga\ (-t[o^]p"[i^]*g[.a]), n. [NL., fr. Gr. ste`ar, ste`atos, fat + pygh` the buttocks.] A remarkable accretion of fat upon the buttocks of Africans of certain tribes, especially of Hottentot (Khoikhoi) women. [1913 Webster]
